Refund Policy

Effective Date: 16 September 2025

1. Scope

This policy covers refunds for course fees, registration charges and payments made for programmes, mock tests and study materials. Separate terms may apply to third-party services (for example, external test platforms or printed materials purchased from vendors).

2. Cancellation by the student (before course start)

  • If you cancel your enrolment before the course commencement date, you may be eligible for a refund of fees paid, subject to deduction of any non-refundable registration or administrative charge (as stated at enrolment) and any transaction fees.
  • Refund requests should be submitted in writing to our admissions team (see contact details below). Refunds will be processed after verification.

3. Cancellation or withdrawal after course commencement

  • Once classes have begun, refunds are generally not available, as course delivery and resources have been allocated.
  • In exceptional circumstances (for example, prolonged medical emergency), SK Education may consider a pro-rata refund for the unused portion of the course after deduction of the registration/administration charge and the cost of any materials already supplied. Such requests must be supported by relevant documentation and are subject to management approval.

4. Course transfers and credits

  • Where possible, students may request a transfer to a different batch or programme. Transfers are subject to availability and may incur an administrative charge.
  • As an alternative to a refund, SK Education may, at its discretion, issue a credit note valid for future courses within a defined period.

5. Cancellation by SK Education

If SK Education cancels a programme or batch, affected students will be offered either a full refund or transfer to an alternate batch/course. We will notify students promptly and process refunds or transfers as requested.

6. How refunds are processed

  • Refunds are issued using the original payment method wherever possible. Processing time after approval is typically within 14 working days; bank or payment-gateway timings may add a few working days. Any bank charges or gateway fees that are non-refundable will be deducted from the refund amount.
  • Refund amounts exclude any taxes that are non-recoverable.

7. Making a refund request

To request a refund, please contact our admissions team with: student name, enrolment reference, course name, reason for refund and supporting documents (if applicable).

8. Disputes and further assistance

If you have concerns about a refund decision, please write to our Admissions Head. We will aim to resolve disputes amicably; unresolved matters may be handled under the dispute resolution clause in our Terms & Conditions.

9. Changes to this policy

SK Education may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Any material changes will be posted on our website with a revised effective date.
