Welcome to SK Education. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website, services, courses and any related offerings (offline or online) provided by SK Education (“we”, “us” or “our”). By enrolling in our programmes, using our website or submitting information to us, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
1. Services provided
SK Education offers coaching programmes, tuition, mock tests, study materials and related educational services for NEET and board preparation. Course details, schedules and fees are published on our website or provided at enrolment. We may modify course content, timetables or faculty as necessary to maintain quality and effective delivery.
2. Enrolment & eligibility
Students must provide accurate and complete information at the time of enrolment. Minors must have parental/guardian consent to enroll — parents/guardians accept these Terms on behalf of any minor. We reserve the right to accept or decline any enrolment at our discretion.
3. Fees, payments & refunds
Course fees, payment schedules and available payment methods are stated at the time of enrolment. Payments must be made in full or per agreed installments. All payments are subject to applicable taxes. Refunds, cancellations and fee adjustments are governed by our separate Refund Policy; please refer to that page for details. Except as provided in the Refund Policy, fees paid are non-transferable and non-refundable.
4. Course materials & intellectual property
All study materials, notes, recorded lectures, mock tests and assessment reports provided by SK Education are our intellectual property or used with permission. These materials are for the student’s personal, non-commercial use only. Reproduction, distribution, modification, or public sharing without written consent is prohibited.
5. Class recordings, attendance & conduct
Classes may be recorded for quality assurance, revision and administrative purposes. By attending, you consent to such recording and limited use by SK Education. Students are expected to behave respectfully towards faculty, staff and peers. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for misconduct, academic dishonesty or breach of these Terms.
6. Online services & third-party links
Our website may contain links to third-party sites or services. We do not control and are not responsible for the content or practices of third parties. Use of third-party services (e.g., payment gateways, video platforms) is subject to their terms and privacy practices.
7. Data protection & privacy
We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using our services you agree to the collection, use and storage of personal information as described in that policy.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SK Education, its directors, employees and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, loss of profit, or loss of data arising out of or in connection with the provision of services. Our total aggregate liability for direct loss arising from our negligence or breach of these Terms is limited to the fees paid by you for the relevant course.
9. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold SK Education harmless from any claim, loss or expense (including reasonable legal costs) arising from your breach of these Terms, misuse of course materials, or unlawful or negligent acts.
10. Force majeure
We are not liable for delays or failures to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control (for example, natural disasters, strikes, power failures, internet outages or government actions). In such cases we will endeavor to resume services as soon as reasonably practicable.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to services where you breach these Terms, provide false information, or act in a manner prejudicial to other students or the institute. Termination does not waive any rights or liabilities that arose prior to termination.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on our website with an updated effective date. Continued use of our services after changes will constitute acceptance of the revised Terms.
13. Governing law & dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms will be resolved amicably where possible; if unresolved, disputes will be referred to arbitration in Kolkata under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, or as agreed by the parties.
